At the beginning of this new year, and like every 1st
of January of this New Century, and being supported
by UNIFEM (United Nations Development Fund for Women),
for the sixth year in a row, I continue with the project
"The end is the beginning in the heights",
once again making a new "call of attention",
and nearing the last stage of reaching "my goal"
of sending messages to humanity from six continents.
From
the Antarctic Continent and from a place that
is representative of all human beings, "Villa
Las Estrellas", on King George Island, where
the first Antarctic woman was born and being the
only base of all Antarctica that has families
residing during the entire year, I am sending
an altruist message to all humanity so that "doors
are never closed any more". |

From
the beginning of this project I promised myself to
"cry out" for the Rights of Women, Girls,
and Children and reclaim world peace. This is what
I have been reclaiming during all these years crossing
the corners that, to my understanding, are the most
representative of the six continents. The mission
that I tackled beginning December 18, 1999, culminates
today, January 1, 2005, in the eternal ices of Antarctica,
which shall continue to be used exclusively for peaceful
and scientific purposes.

In
my vindication for the Fundamental Laws for
Human Beings, I appeal to the conscience of
the inhabitants of the world, to Chiefs of State,
to the Chiefs of International organizations,
to the eminent personalities and to the mass
media in order that they unite and, for once
in all, let us all construct and fight for all
that is essential - Peace. |
In
representation of all Women, Girls and Children, giving
voice to all who suffer daily and in silence violations
of their Rights, I send my message of faith, of hope,
of peace for all humanity; I request equality among
all, without discrimination of race, age, religion,
language, sex, physical or mental incapacity, social
condition, political opinion or any other condition,
and once again invite everyone to partake in forming
the Circle of the Love and Unity. And at this precise
moment of the change of the year, let's proclaim a
creed that awakens, once and for all, all that is
still pure inside the human race.
For
You Girls, Children and for all of us, in order that
our illusions never die, in order that every day is
better, in order that we understand that nothing is
impossible with LOVE, I make this "call of
attention" from the driest, coldest, and
most windy Continent on Earth; one that represents
the biggest reservoir of water on this planet.
In
order that my thousandth of a "granite of sand"
contributions to obtain a better world for all, other
"thousandths of a granite of sand" must
unite to form such an immense desert, such as is this
Continent also known as "The White Desert of
the Antarctic". To create a "desert"
formed of solidarity of millions of human beings working
together for World Peace and the Universal Rights
for the good of all Humanity.
Because
" Love is the sustentation of life "
and " The end is the beginning at great heights
". |
